Additional Information

High-risk locations like factories, construction sites, and warehouses require security personnel with the more in-depth First Aid at Work qualification. EFAW is designed for low-risk workplaces like offices or smaller retail stores.

The EFAW course only takes a day to complete, but it is still very thorough and provides you with the first aid knowledge you need to maintain compliance for your SIA licence.

Additionally, the EFAW course will introduce you to health and safety laws that support proactive incident prevention.

Emergency situation management will also be covered. That teaches you how to interact with the victim, give advice to those nearby, and report the incident to medical personnel.
